Hands on the 15-inch Vertical MacBook Sleeve from Rivet

Since their entrance into the case manufacturing market, Rivet has really impressed with their offerings for the iPhone and MacBook. Of course, their inventory is not as diverse as more season manufacturers such as Vaja or Sena, however, their stylish and unique designs are simply unbeatable. Today we take a look at the Vertical Sleeve for Apple's 15-inch MacBooks. 

Even though you may have a laptop bag for your MacBook, it is still recommended that you also invest in a sleeve in order to protect it from any loose materials such as pens, coins, keys etc that can damage it. Sleeves are generally light weight and as such are very convenient when you don't want to carry a bulky bag around with you.

Rivet's Vertical Sleeve is made from durable fabric, high quality vintage leather and accented with red threading. It exudes a cool "Just Look at me Now" attitude that would make any MacBook owner proud! The designers at Rivet definitely have an eye for fashion. The soft interior makes for a really snug fit for the MacBook and it does a great job at protecting from scratches. Importantly, the sleeve provides a firm yet comfortable grip that makes it especially easy to carry around for extended periods of time.

The only questionable feature we found was the small velcro patch that is used to secure your MacBook within the sleeve. It looks really flimsy and comes as a surprise given the attention to detail and the quality materials that are used on the rest of the sleeve. Overall however, we think that if you like their style, Rivet's Vertical Sleeve is a great buy for your 15-inch MacBook.
