Apple Awarded Patent For OS X Dock

Today Apple was awarded the patent for the OS X Dock. The patent was filed 9 years ago on December 20, 1999. The dock is the trademark application launcher associated with Mac computers. The inventors are listed as Bas Ording, Steve Jobs, and Donald Lindsay. The patent covers the userbar which allows multiple application shortcuts to reside on it and the magnification for greater accessibility when the mouse is moved over each item.
