Software for my iMac

I just purchased an iMac for my office. I am in love with it and I want to use it to its full potential. I am purchasing Macromedia Captivate for software training. Are there any other suggestions for other pieces of software?

I haven't tried Captivate personally and don't know that many people who have - probably because it's on the pricier side. Here a couple alternatives to consider:
Snapz Pro X from Ambrosia ($70)
iShowU from ShinyWhiteBox ($60 for the pro version)
Screenflow from Telestream ($100)
Screenium from Synium Soft ($30)
Jing from TechSmith Corporation (Free!)
