I didn't always want to jailbreak my iPhone - or better yet, I should say, I just didn't see the real need to. The process was too much of a hassle and I was looking forward to updates to the iPhone OS from Apple. However, earlier this week I jailbroke my iPhone 3G in 15 seconds and unlocked 2 minutes later. I'll post a write-up soon with the details, but before I do, I want to take some time to explain why after all this time I finally decided to take the plunge. Here are my 10 reasons for jailbreaking my iPhone 3G!

It is no secret that the iPhone's App Store which debuted last summer has been extremely successful and profitable for both Apple and third party developers alike. The success stories keep pouring in! With over 25,000 apps currently available and more than 800M downloads, Apple has struck gold with their in built store model. Wanting to cash in on some of the success that Apple has been experiencing, rivaling companies are now debuting their own built in application marketplace for their devices. 

Slide To Play has posted a hands-on exclusive video of EA's upcoming Need for Speed Underground racing game for the iPhone. Saying the graphics and gameplay look amazing is a gross understatement! Needless to say, if this is even a hint of what to expect from the rumored premium games section of the App Store - well, they've got my $20! Check out the video below:
