If you have been enviously eyeing the Palm Pre’s inductive touchstone charger, then you will love what WildCharge can do for your iPhone! While not a perfect solution, it is one more step on the path towards a cable free workspace. People who are serious about back-up battery packs for their iPhones, will undoubtedly find Mophie's Juice Pack Air to be quite an alluring and perhaps necessary accessory for their iPhone 3G/3GS. I got a chance to spend some hands-on time with a unit over the last couple weeks and have written up an extensive review.

iPhone OS 3.0.1 Released - Fixes SMS Security Vulnerability

Apple has released iPhone OS 3.0.1, an important update that addresses an SMS security vulnerability that was demoed yesterday at the the Black Hat cybersecurity conference in Las Vegas.The security flaw was discovered by security researchers Charlie Miller and Collin Mulliner who informed Apple of the exploit over a month ago. 

Apple Releases Mobile Me iDisk App

Today, Apple released the previously announced MobileMe iDisk app for the iPhone. The app is available as a free download and gives users access to files stored on their iDisk on the go. You can share your files with someone else right from within the app and even assign time restrictions and password requirements for access.

Apple Releases iPhone 3.0

Well guys and gals, it's finally here! At 1:00 pm EST, Apple began pushing iPhone OS 3.0 from its servers in iTunes. iPhone users can upgrade to version 3.0 for free while iPod Touch users can purchase the upgrade for $9.95. Simply connect your device to iTunes and you can proceed with the upgrade. We'll have a full review of the OS posted later this week.
